Research interests include mechanisms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse development, the role of ovarian hormones in the prevention of pelvic floor deterioration; use of urine-derived, patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells for regeneration of urethral sphincter in women with Stress Urinary Incontinence.

Research Interests

Mathematical modeling; Computational Neuroscience; Inhibitory cell models.

Research Interests

The mechanism of information transfer between neurons with particular focus on the function of the presynaptic nerve terminal. The direct examination of presynaptic ion channel activity and its relation to transmitter release.
