Mike Seed

Dr. Mike Seed is the Division Head of Cardiology at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and a Senior Associate Scientist at the SickKids Research Institute. He is a Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto and is cross-appointed to the Department of Physiology and the Institute of Medical Science. His research has focused on perinatal cardiovascular physiology and its relationship with brain development and injury in patients with congenital heart disease, which he studies using MRI. He is also working on a preclinical model of artificial womb technology.
