Year 1: Initiate required course work and research work. CIHR proposal must be completed within time limits.
Year 2: Research work, presentation and oral defense of Research Proposal
Year 3: Research work and presentation of initial.
Year 4: Completion of research work, writing of thesis, Final Supervisory Committee Meeting, and Final Oral Exam.
Year 5: If research is not completed, then an explanation (upon request) must be submitted by the student and supervisor to the Graduate Studies Committee.
