Physiology-led Healthy Life Trajectories Initiative Meets with Leaders in South Africa

The leadership team of the HeLTI (Healthy Life Trajectories Initiative) Consortium recently met with the program funders in Cape Town, South Africa to discuss progress of the projects in Canada, China, India and South Africa. Professor Stephen Matthews co-leads the HeLTI-India study while Professor Stephen Lye co-leads the HeLTI South Africa project. We were fortunate to have the South African Minister of Health (Dr Joe Phaahla) and the Director General of WHO (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus) participate in discussions at the meeting.
