This scientific exchange program provides a broad-based interdisciplinary training for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, clinical fellows and residents in the area of developmental biology from both basic science and clinical perspectives. It involves a series of morning lectures and seminars with afternoon activities that span site visits and demonstrations of biomedical and clinical facilities related to reproductive healthcare and regenerative medicine.
The program is open and without cost for all trainees (Graduate students, Postdoctoral Fellows, Residents and Clinical Fellows) at The University of Toronto (including affiliated research institutes and hospitals). It combines cutting edge lectures, seminars and practical sessions in the areas of:
Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine
Pregnancy & Birth
Developmental Origins of Health & Disease
Fetal Development (Respiratory / Cardiovascular and Neurobiology)
Faculty are welcome to attend the morning lecture sessions.
