Detailed Description: My interests/activities include mentoring and advising graduate students, post-docs and members of faculty in issues related to current and future professional endeavors.
More specifically, I continue to:
initiate/assist in establishing workshops, seminars and courses in "grantsmanship"
advise on the planning [objective, strategic and management] of new and/or evolving granting agencies
critically review research proposals for colleagues
survey sources of current and future funding for investigator-initiated biomedical research
evaluate and comment on long term trends in the discipline of Physiology
lecture here and there on related subjects
