Call for Nominations: Excellence in Undergraduate Faculty Teaching in Life Sciences Awards (2017)
The purpose of these awards is to honour outstanding and sustained contributions by members of the Faculty of Medicine to undergraduate Arts & Sciences teaching in Life Sciences. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm on January 31, 2017 and should be submitted electronically to Natasha Lowe firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nominations are to be prepared by a “primary nominator”, and the material for the nomination dossier assembled by the nominator and the nominee together. We would like to encourage you to facilitate student engagement and participation in the nomination process for these awards nominations should be submitted through your Undergraduate Program Office. Must be nominated by a student, a former student or another faculty. Last year we received 7 nominations (1 students and 6 faculty nominators).
A total of 5 awards are available distributed in 4 categories:
1) Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in Life Sciences
2) Excellence in Undergraduate Laboratory Teaching in Life Sciences
3) Excellence in Linking Undergraduate Teaching to Research in Life Sciences
4) Sustained Excellence and Innovation in Life Sciences Education
