2017 Cressy Student Leadership Award
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Cressy Student Leadership Awards.
The Cressy Student Leadership Awards recognize students who have made outstanding extra-curricular leadership contributions to their college, faculty or school, or to the University as a whole. Students must be currently enrolled at the University of Toronto in their final year of study, or have completed their studies after June 2016.
The awards aim to encourage and recognize participation in university affairs by alumni and students. Through the Gordon Cressy Awards, student and new alumni involvement is fostered across the University. The awards also provide an excellent opportunity for the Faculty of Medicine to have the outstanding contributions of our students acknowledged at the University level.
Please keep in mind that these awards are based on volunteer experience related to the University of Toronto and so we ask that you clearly outline the roles and responsibilities of your volunteer activities. For example, if you organized an event, please be sure to include information about how many people attended, the impact the event had on the student experience, etc.
Should you have questions about the nomination process or require assistance completing the forms, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Please feel free to circulate this email to colleagues, staff and students to help spread the word about the Cressy Awards.
I look forward to your submissions.
